FREE 15-MINUTE CONSULTATION

Not sure if we're a good fit? Let's find out.

A free 15-minute video call to get your questions answered and see if working together makes sense. No commitment, no pressure.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A low-stakes conversation, not a commitment.

The free consultation is a chance to connect before either of us commits to anything. Here's what it involves:

1

What it is

A 15-minute secure video call. You can ask questions, tell me a bit about what you're looking for, and get a sense of whether we'd be a good fit. There's no obligation to book a session afterward.

2

What we cover

Whatever is most useful to you. Most people want to talk through their situation briefly, ask practical questions about scheduling or fees (many of these answers can be found below), and get a feel for how I work.

3

What it isn't

A diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a therapy session. Fifteen minutes isn't enough time for any of those things, and I won't try to compress them into the call. That's what the actual sessions are for.

COMMON QUESTIONS

The things most people want to know before reaching out.

Session fees

The initial session is $225. Ongoing sessions are $200.

I'm a private pay practice and don't bill insurance directly. I provide superbills monthly that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients recover a meaningful portion of the fee this way.

In-person vs. video

In-person sessions are available at my Houston office during daytime hours. Video sessions are available throughout Texas, New York, and 40+ PsyPact states.

Both options are available and equally effective. Many clients choose video for the flexibility it offers, particularly for scheduling around work or school.

Scheduling and availability

Sessions are typically once a week or every two weeks. In-person sessions are available during daytime hours on Wednesdays. The remainder of the appointments are virtual sessions, which include 3:30 and 4:30pm slots to accommodate school and work schedules.

Weekend and evening sessions are not currently available. If after-school availability is essential, virtual sessions are the most reliable option.

What sessions look like

The first one or two sessions focus on understanding what's going on, what you've already tried, and what your goals are. From there we build a plan and get to work.

Sessions are active and skills-focused rather than open-ended. You'll leave with something concrete, not just a sense that you talked about things. Each specialty page goes into more detail on what treatment looks like for that specific concern.

The consultation is useful for anyone who wants to connect before committing.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Adults seeking support for themselves

Whether you're dealing with anxiety, OCD, burnout, or something else entirely, the consultation is a chance to talk through what you're experiencing and ask how I'd approach it.

Parents looking for support for a child or teen

If you're not sure whether what your child is experiencing warrants therapy, or you want to understand what the process would look like before bringing your child in, the consultation is a good place to start.

Not everyone needs the consultation first. If you've already read through the site and feel ready to book, you can schedule a session directly without going through a consultation call. Either path works.
